What are the property tax rates?
Residential properties are taxed at 1 per thousand, commercial properties at 2 per thousand, plots at 3 per thousand, and agricultural land at 1 per thousand. These rates are doubled within metropolitan municipality boundaries.
When is property tax paid?
Property tax is paid in 2 equal installments per year. The first installment is due in March-May, and the second in November. The deadline for installments is the last business day of the respective months.
What are the property tax exemptions?
Disabled persons, veterans, martyrs' relatives, and persons over 65 who have no income or whose income consists solely of pensions from social security institutions are exempt from property tax for a single residence not exceeding 200 m² gross area.
