Frequently Asked Questions

What are the conditions for passing a course?

Generally, there are two conditions: (1) The weighted average must be above a certain threshold (50, 60, or 70). (2) The final grade must be above the minimum threshold (usually 25-30 points). Both conditions must be met.

What does the final threshold mean?

The final threshold is the minimum grade required on the final exam. No matter how high the midterm grade is, if the final grade is below this threshold, the course is considered failed. At most universities, this threshold is around 25-30 points.

How is the make-up exam right used?

Students who fail the final or cannot take the exam can take the make-up exam. The make-up score replaces the final score and the average is recalculated.
