Electric vehicle MVT is determined by engine power (kW) and is approximately 50% lower than gasoline/diesel vehicles. This incentive is provided to support the green transition.

Motorcycle MVT is determined by engine displacement (cc) and vehicle age. Lower tariffs are applied compared to automobiles. In the lowest bracket, it is approximately 78 TL annually, and in the highest bracket, around 10,578 TL.

Separate MVT tariffs apply for commercial vehicles (pickup trucks, minibuses, trucks). Generally, more favorable tariffs apply compared to passenger vehicles. Commercial vehicles may also be taxed based on weight and capacity criteria.
