Fitrah Calculator

Fitrah (sadaqat al-fitr) is a mandatory charity that must be given by Muslims who possess wealth beyond their basic needs equal to the nisab amount during Ramadan. It must be given before the Eid al-Fitr prayer.

The fitrah amount is determined as the equivalent of one person's daily food needs. In Turkey, the Directorate of Religious Affairs announces the current fitrah amount each year.

Every Muslim who possesses wealth equal to the nisab amount (the value of 80.18 grams of gold) beyond their basic needs is obligated to give fitrah for themselves and those they are responsible for supporting.
