Earthquake Insurance (DASK) Calculator

DASK (Natural Disaster Insurance Institution) is the compulsory earthquake insurance for homeowners in Turkey. It is a legal requirement for all independent sections with a title deed. Utility subscriptions (electricity, water, natural gas) cannot be opened without a DASK policy.

The DASK premium is determined based on factors such as the earthquake risk zone of the property, the building construction type (steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, etc.), the total square meters of the building, and the building age.

The DASK coverage limit is updated annually. The insured amount is calculated by multiplying the gross square meters of the property by the unit price, subject to a certain ceiling limit. For coverage above the ceiling, you can purchase optional earthquake insurance.
