Baby Height Calculator

Baby height charts are based on WHO standards. The 50th percentile represents the average height. Between the 3rd and 97th percentile is considered normal. What matters is that the baby progresses consistently on their own growth curve.

Height is largely (60-80%) determined by genetic factors. However, adequate nutrition, sleep, and a healthy environment also affect height development. Parents' heights provide important clues about the baby's potential height.

Rapid growth occurs in the first 2 years, then growth rate slows down. Height growth typically stops around ages 14-16 in girls and 16-18 in boys. An average of 25 cm growth is expected in the first year, and 12-13 cm in the second year.
