The ALES score is calculated by applying different weights to the Quantitative and Verbal section nets based on the selected score type. In the Quantitative score type, quantitative weight is 70%, in the Verbal score type, verbal weight is 70%, and in Equal Weight, both are 50%.

How many questions are on the ALES exam?
The ALES exam has a total of 100 questions: 50 Quantitative and 50 Verbal questions. The exam duration is 150 minutes. Every 4 incorrect answers cancel out 1 correct answer.
