Frequently Asked Questions

What is BTU and why is it important in AC selection?

BTU (British Thermal Unit) is a unit of heat energy measurement and indicates the cooling/heating capacity of an air conditioner. Choosing the right BTU capacity ensures both efficient cooling/heating and energy savings. An AC with too low BTU cannot adequately cool the room, while one with too high BTU wastes energy unnecessarily.

How many BTU AC is needed for a room?

For a standard room, approximately 600 BTU per square meter is calculated. For penthouse or sun-facing rooms, this value increases to 800 BTU. For example, a 12,000 BTU AC is recommended for a 20 sqm middle floor room, and an 18,000 BTU AC for a sun-facing penthouse room.

What is the difference between inverter and conventional AC?

Conventional ACs work by turning the compressor on and off, causing energy loss. Inverter ACs continuously adjust compressor speed to maintain the desired temperature. Inverter ACs consume 30-50% less electricity, operate more quietly, and provide more stable temperature. In the long run, the price difference is offset by electricity savings.
